ZTE’s dual rear camera toting Blade V8 phone is yours for RM999
ZTE’s latest midrange offering hops onto the dual-camera bandwagon with a rear camera setup that consists of one 13-MP camera with PDAF paired up with a 2-MP rear camera riding shotgun to capture depth details for nifty depth of field shots. Shots snagged off the rear camera array can also be refocused after capturing them and the cameras also have a HDR mode for better image quality under more challenging lighting conditions.
The rest of the hardware puts it as a midrange workhorse with a 5.2-inch Full HD display sheathed in 2.5D glass, a Snapdragon 1.4GHz octacore processor running Android Nougat 7.0 overlaid with their MiFavor 4.2 user interface, 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Selfies are taken care of via a 13-MP front camera and the whole affair is powered by a built-in non-removable 2,730mAh battery.
The phone also notably has the ability to open up two windows leading to a select pool of apps simultaneously onscreen, packs a fingerprint sensor at the base of the touchscreen and also has a dual hybrid SIM card slot so you have the option of either slotting in two SIM cards or one SIM and a microSD card up to 128GB in size. All this is crammed into a pleasantly fetching metal casing in dark gray though a rose gold option is slated sometime later on in June. If this has you chuffed, you’ll be glad to know that the ZTE Blade V8 is now available for sale at stores nationwide though you can also snag it off Lazada too.
