vivo launches budget friendly Y69 phone with 16MP front selfie camera

Following on from the launch of their flagship vivo V7+ selfie camphone at Pavilion mall a few weeks ago, vivo has now announced that they are launching a more affordable workhorse selfie camphone dubbed the vivo Y69.

The vivo Y69 is a budget friendly phone that comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with 267ppi and runs Android Nougat 7.0 on a 64-bit 1.5GHz octacore MediaTek MT6570 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage that can be expanded to 256GB. The rear comes with a 13-MP camera that has an F/2.0 aperture and a dual tone LED flash while the front has a larger 16-MP camera for selfies with an F/2.0 aperture. The main draw here is that it boasts of a ‘Selfie Softlight’ feature that enhances self portraits even when taken under challenging light conditions while also adding background blur for that professional look.

Keeping it juiced is a 3,000mAh battery wrapped in a unibody aluminium casing that weighs 162.8g and is 7.7mm thin. The phone retails for RM999 inclusive of GST and can be had in either Champagne Gold or Matte Black nationwide at all vivo concept stores nationwide as well as online at their official store at Lazada  , 11street , Shopee and at PGMall.
