Samsung’s Addwash Front Loader washing machine is awash with new features

While it has been said that the washing machine of today is something that’s pretty hard to improve on, Samsung’s managed to do that and quite a bit more. Their latest Add Wash Front loader washing machines comes with a few novel tweaks that let you get a load of laundry sorted out a lot faster and in an even cleaner fashion too.


Basically, it’s a range of front loader washing machines that come in a variety of different sizes culminating in a massive 12kg model that lets you wash huge family-sized loads at a time. What they all have in common is the addition of a nifty Add Wash hatch up front, hence the name. The idea here is that you’re able to drop in a spare shirt or two into the wash cycle without having to start from scratch all over again by simply popping the hatch open. Handy, that.

That’s not all though as they’ve managed to harness the power of bubbles to make your laundry cleaner in a faster fashion. Dubbed as EcoBubble tech, the washing machines are able to generate a series of bubbles that are finer than what would naturally appear in nature to allow deeper, cleaner washing by allowing detergent to penetrate through all manner of fabric via the bubbles. These bubbles also permeate and surround clothing to loosen and remove stains. The best thing is that this tech also eschews the need for hot water. Rather than having to broil clothes like a steamboat hot pot to get dirt and stains off, this tech simply uses cold water to render equally effective cleaning. In the long term, this prevents colours and textures in clothing from wearing out before their time. Short answer: it keeps your duds in better condition and makes them cleaner.
