New Shopee sellers now let you buy fresh produce!

There is now another inspiring reason not to leave the house as Shopee now lets you purchase fresh produce – fish, poultry and vegetables, the lot – online on their platform via two new Shopee sellers dubbed the Fish Club and FreshTap.

The fish are sourced from online seafood purveyor Fish Club who get their pomfret, shrimp, threadfin and other delicacies from Pontian. Seafood is scaled, cleaned and then blast frozen before being vacuum packed to seal in the freshness before being shipped to customers. Shipping is a flat RM20 though you get it for free if you buy RM300 or more.

Poultry and digestible shrubbery are sourced from FreshTap who in turn acquire it from Sekinchan and Kuala Selangor. Shipping from FreshTap is a flat RM12.

Consumers who purchase from Fish Club and FreshTap on Shopee will receive their fresh produce within 1 to 3 days. To kick-start the launch of this new offering on Shopee, shoppers will be in for a treat: items such as salmon, dory fish, shrimp, whole chicken, beef chunks, clams and sardine will be at a 50% off during the Shocking Sale on 3 and 4 March 2020.
