OPPO is teaming up with Digi and the Esports Players League (ESPL) to organise an online-only eSports tournament dubbed the ‘OPPO Gaming Tournament Season 1’ that will take place from 6th to 12th July 2020.

The online only tournament will involve battle royale game  PUBG  and will be hosted on ESPL’s online espl.gg platform.

The  tournament itself will have four stages – qualifiers, quarter finals, semi finals and the grand final with a total of 512 teams that will be whittle down to 16 for the grand final.

Entry is open for Malaysians aged 12 and above with the first prize for the winning team consisting of a cool RM4,000 and 4 OPPO Reno3 Pro smartphones. The second-place winners gets RM2000 and 4 OPPO A92 smartphones. The third winning team will get 4 Enco W31 wireless earphones and RM1,000 in cash while the 4th place winning team gets RM1,000 in cash. Consolation prizes of RM500 are allocated to the 5th to 8th place winners.
