ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED M1503 with AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPUs now in Malaysia from RM3,299

ASUS has been on a roll of late with a slew of laptop launches across the range from their ultra premium Zenbook series all the way to their mainstream Vivobook line-up. Now, they’ve just launched a new addition that also features OLED displays and AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors dubbed the VivoBook 15X OLED for Malaysia.

What is the ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED M1503?

The ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED, aka model M1503 comes with a 15.6-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and exceptional colour accuracy as it has 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, Pantone validation, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and 550 nits peak brightness. Up top, it also has a webcam with a privacy shield.

The primary variant features a Ryzen 7 5800H CPU, 8GB DDR4 RAM with a spare SO-DIMM slot for additional RAM upgrades later on and a 512GB SSD.

Keeping all this hardware cool is a beefed up dual heat pipe and an 87-blade cooling fan; a rarity in this price range to afford it a solid 45W total TDP in Performance mode without throttling. Keeping it powered is a 70Whr battery. This version costs RM3,699 and also ships with a free copy of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2021.

Alternatively, you can opt for a more affordable variant with an AMD Ryzen5 5600H CPU but with otherwise identical specifications for RM3,299. For Malaysia, the ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED M1503 will be available at all ASUS official stores and retailers from 17th August 2022 onwards. For more details check out their official site here..
