Vivo X100 series Malaysia prices revealed: yours from RM3,499
In a gala launch, vivo Malaysia has officially launched their vivo X100 series in Malaysia that consist of the vivo X100 and vivo X100 Pro.
Both phones feature potent triple camera arrays enhanced by Zeiss optics, MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processors and 120Hz AMOLED displays with your choice of two colourways in the Malaysia market which consists of Startrail Blue and Asteroid black. White and Orange colour ways exist but are not announced for the Malaysia market at the moment.
vivo X100 series – vivo X100 and vivo X100 Pro differences
The vivo X100 and vivo X100 Pro both differ in a number of subtle yet important ways though they both feature a similar core set of features and have similar aesthetics and colourways as well as an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.

Both the vivo X100 and vivo X100 Pro both host a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. If you’re one to count beans, the vivo X100 Pro is actually slightly heavier at about 225g and thicker at 9.1mm while the X100 is about 206g and is 8.8mm thin.

Both phones also run on the relatively new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor that’s built on a 4nm process running their Funtouch OS 14 under the hood with the latest Android 13. Both phones also feature the same 32MP F/2.0 selfie camera up front.
Size and svelteness aside, the vivo X100 Pro is the bigger, pricier model with a better camera array that hosts a triple 50MP camera setup enhanced with Zeiss optics and a Zeiss T lens coating. The main 50MP camera has an F/1.8 aperture with OIS while the second 50MP has an F/2.5 aperture and 4.3x zoom with OIS.
Last but not least the 50MP F/2.0 ultra wide angle camera aims to tackle wide scenery and group shots. To enhance image performance, the vivo X100 Pro also hosts a unique vivo V3 chip that leverages AI for better zoomed in shots and low light performance.
The vivo X100 Pro also hosts a slightly larger 5,400mAh battery with both 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. For Malaysia, they’ve kitted out the vivo X100 Pro with the nearly maxed out16GB RAM and 512GB of storage configuration.
The vivo X100 is the more affordable sibling with a similarly sized 120Hz OLED display, an identical MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor but features a slightly different triple camera array with a primary 50MP F/1.6 camera with OIS, a 64MP F/2.6 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS as well as a 50MP F/2.9 angle camera. Powering the vivo X100’s imaging hardware is a vivo X2 chip that ensures optimum low light and telephoto imaging performance.

Another key difference is that it has a slightly smaller 5,000mAh battery with slightly faster 120W wired charging but lacks wireless charging support. For Malaysia, the vivo X100 currently comes with nearly maxed out 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

The vivo X100 series Malaysia price has been announced at RM3,499 for the 16GB RAM/ 512GB storage variant with your choice of Startrail Blue and Asteroid Black colourways. The vivo X100 Pro will retail for RM4,599 for the 16GB RAM/512GB storage variant with similar choices of colourways as the vivo X100.
Preorders for both the models will debut starting from 4th January 2024 for online preorders and 6th Jan 2024 for in-store preorders at vivo concept stores nationwide. Customers who preorder the vivo X100 get a free vivo TWS air pair of earbuds worth RM179 along with 180-days screen protection worth RM300.
