New vivo V40 Lite with 5,000mAh battery and 80W wired charging coming to Malaysia soon

vivo has been expanding their line-up of v40 series phones in Malaysia. Alongside the vivo V40 Pro and V40, the brand has announced that they will be deploying the vivo V40 Lite in the near future with an official teaser.

What is the vivo V40 Lite?

As you’d surmise, they’ve revealed precious little save for a few specifications about their new phone and an image of its three potential colourways which seem to be a light silver, a light purple and either a dark purple or black finish.

What little has been officially released states that the vivo V40 Lite has a 5,000mAh battery with 4-year battery health, has a Titanium Silver’ colourway with Diamond Starry texture, has a large 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and an AI Aura Light system to complement its camera setup along with a stated deployment date of October 2024.

While vague, it does line-up with the possibility that this is possibly the 4G Indonesian version of the vivo V40 Lite as it too has a Titanium Silver colourway, has a matching 5,000mAh battery also with 80W wired charging following their official literature and has a matching 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display too. 

This particular version has a Snapdragon 685 processor paired with 8GB RAM and either 256GB or 128GB of onboard expandable storage and has a rear 50MP F/1.8 main camera with a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, the phone has a 32MP selfie camera. With this setup it looks like a light workhorse phone with exceptional endurance.
