Acer Swift 14 AI with Copilot+ now in Malaysia priced from RM4,399
Acer is embracing the AI revolution in a big way as they’re rolling in an Intel Core Ultra series 2 equipped variant of the Acer Swift 14 AI for the Malaysia market that offers performance, power and endurance in equal measure in a 14-inch form factor.
Astute readers will note that the Acer Swift 14 AI was initially announced to pack a Snapdragon X Elite chipset but at this present point in time, there’s no news yet as to when this variant will arrive in Malaysia. As Acer’s very first Copilot+ PC in Malaysia, the Acer Swift 14 AI with the latest Intel Core Ultra series 2 CPU notably stands out from its more mundane siblings as it has a cloud-shaped LED indicator inset into the touchpad that lights up when laptop’s the neural processing unit (NPU) is in use for AI related tasks.

In terms of hardware, the Acer Swift 14 AI comes with a 14-inch OLED WUXGA resolution display with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and a tall 16:10 aspect ratio, qualities which lends it utility for content creators and mobile workers alike. The Acer Swift 14 AI’s display also has a VESA Certified DisplayHDR 500 certification and is Eyesafe certified too for low blue light emissions.
Shoehorned into a svelte chassis that weighs just 1.3kg and is 9.7mm thin and which has a robust MIL-STD-810 indicator for durability is the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 series 2 258V processor paired with a whopping 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, a 512GB SSD and Intel Arc graphics.
That’s not all, the Acer Swift 14 AI also has Intel EVO certification too, vouching that it meets Intel’s standards for an ultraportable in terms of battery life, fast boot-up times and performance. On paper, the Acer Swift 14 AI is rated for up to a whopping 29 quoted hours of battery life.
In keeping with its potent AI capabilities, the Acer Swift 14 AI has a bevy of AI-powered features. On top of the aforementioned AI indicator in the touchpad, the Acer Swift 14 AI also has eye contact correction for video calls to enable you to stay in frame during video calls while Acer’s own PurifierView 2.0 and PurifiedVoice 2.0 work together to ensure clear visuals and clear audio during video calls.
The provision of the more powerful Copilot+ in the Acer Swift 14 AI also offers Live Caption support to translate 40 languages into English in real time even when offline.

In terms of pricing, the Acer Swift 14 AI is available for RM4,999 with a special two-week launch promotion taking place starting today until 12 November 2024 where every purchase comes with a free pair of Sony WF-C510 Truly Wireless headphones valued at RM299.
