vivo V80 Lite 5G launched in Malaysia; prices start from RM1,499

In a gala launch outside Lot 10 mall in downtown Bukit Bintang, vivo Malaysia officially unveiled their phone, the vivo V80 Lite that features a massive 10,000mAh battery and prices that start from RM1,499.

In terms of hardware, the vivo V80 Lite 5G comes with a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits in High Brightness Mode. The phone is also flanked by stereo speakers beefed up with a VEQ algorithm for richer bass.

Running under the hood is a Dimensity 7300e processor running Android 16 and their own Origin OS 6 as well as what they refer to as a 3.8K Ultra Large VC Cooling System for sustained cooling during heavy workloads and hot weather. In Malaysia, the vivo V70 Lite 5G comes in three RAM/storage configurations that consists of a base 6GB RAM/128GB variant, a slightly higher 6GB RAM and 256GB variant and an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.

The rear comes with a single 50MP f/1.8 camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor while the front has a single 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera. Keeping the phone powered is a massive 10,000mAh battery with 44W wired charging.

Of note with vivo’s latest phone is a robust chassis rated to survive drops of up to 1 metre on solid surfaces, up to an IP69 dust and water resistance rating.

In Malaysia, the vivo V80 Lite 5G with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage officially retails for RM1,499 while the 6GB RAM and 256GB variant retails for RM1,799. The highest end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is available for RM1,999.
