Sleek new Acer Nitro V 15 gaming laptop gets your game on from RM3,099
If you’re looking to get your game on and tackle the likes of Starfield and the new Cyberpunk 2077 2.1 update in an affordable fashion, you’re in luck as Acer has issued a new sub-RM4,000 gaming laptop from their Nitro range dubbed the Acer Nitro V 15 that comes in two variants for the Malaysia market.
Acer Nitro V 15 Specifications
The Acer Nitro V 15 comes with a solid array of hardware that consists of a 15.6-inch IPS LCD with 1080p resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
The top of the line variant hosts a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13420H processor, 8GB DDR5 RAM that can be upgradable to 64GB RAM, a 512GB SSD with an additional spare M.2 SSD slot to augment additional storage as well as an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with 6GB GDDR6 vRAM with a TGP of 75W.
Connectivity is solid as well with WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1 and a slew of I/O ports that cover the bases including a HDMI 2.1 port, a USB 2.0 port, a pair of USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a 3.5mm audio jacks and a USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 4 support and charging duties though the laptop also has DC-IN barrel charger for heavy duty gaming sessions.
Another variant of the Acer Nitro V 15 also exists which has similar specifications and is aesthetically similar but uses a more affordable NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM.

In Malaysia, the Acer Nitro V 15 with the NVIDIA RTX 4050 GPU retails for RM3,899 while the more affordable variant with the RTX 2050 GPU retails for RM3,099.
Both versions are now available nationwide in Malaysia.
