Acer Swift Air 16 Copilot+ ultraportable with 16-inch screen revealed at IFA 2025
Acer revealed their latest array of laptops and other tech at IFA 2025 in Berlin, Germany that include their latest ultraportable, the Acer Swift Air 16 which weighs less than a kilogram, which makes it one of the lightest laptops on the planet.
Weighing just 988g on account of its magnesium aluminium chassis, the Acer Swift Air 16 is intended as a light ultraportable for mobile workers with a 16-inch WQXHGA+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 or a WUXGA IPS display with a 60Hz refresh rate.
Depending on region and configuration, the Acer Swift Air 16 has up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor with Copilot+ onboard AI support, up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to a 1TB SSD and up to AMD Radeon 860M integrated graphics. You also get a 2MP FHD IR camera with a privacy shutter up top, stereo speakers and a 50Wh 3-cell Lithium ion battery rated for up to 13 hours of battery life.
The laptop also has two USB Type-C ports, a USB 3.2 Type-A and a HDMI 1.4 port with HDCP support. You also get fast WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4.
Acer Swift Air 16 Price
There’s no official word on when or if it will make an appearance in Malaysia but official word from Acer is that it will be available in EMEA from November onwards from EUR999 which works out to about RM4,925.
