Acer Swift Go 14 AI laptop with Snapdragon X Plus CPU now in Malaysia; priced at RM3,999

Acer has expanded their line-up of Copilot+ enabled laptops in Malaysia as they’ve finally brought in the Acer Swift Go 14 AI powered by the Snapdragon X Plus chipset alongside the Acer Swift 14 AI that also has Copilot+ AI support but which is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor.

In terms of hardware, the Acer Swift Go 14 AI comes with a 14.5-inch WUXGA 120Hz IPS display, runs Windows 11 Home on the Snapdragon X Plus octa core processor capable of up to 45 TOPs, has 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD. The laptop is also quoted to have up to 23 hours of battery life.

Beyond the usage of a different Snapdragon X Plus processor, the Acer Swift Go 14 AI has a slightly larger display with a higher refresh rate and has a larger 1TB SSD but has less RAM compared to the Acer Swift 14 AI which we reviewed previously. Both laptops support Microsoft’s Copilot+ with enhanced AI capabilities including real time Live Captions that will be available via an update sometime in November.

Much like the Acer Swift 14 AI, the Acer Swift Go 14 has Acer Purified View 2.0 and Purified Voice 2.0 that leverage the chipset’s NPU for better video and call quality in video calls. The laptop also has a a GT BOoster AI Flow that leverages AI for optimised traffic shaping to optimise connectivity and minimise lag.

In Malaysia, the Acer Swift Go 14 AI comes with a free one-year of Microsoft Office 365 and a free copy of Office Home and Student and is officially priced at RM3,999.
