Amezcua rolls out GX-1 Bio-Reset System grounding mat for wellness in Malaysia

Wellness tech brand Amezcua is celebrating a two decade milestone with a global rollout of their GX-1 Bio-Reset System, a non-powered grounding mat designed for use in everyday wellness routines. In line with the global rollout, the brand also launched the product in Malaysia.

Designed for easy portability and for use at home or at work, the GX-1 resembles a yoga mat that is consists of an electroconductive polyurethane (PU) upper layer and a thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPE) foam base layer with a conductive connection wire linking to a more compact floor contact pad with similar properties.

The design relies on a wellness practice often referred to as  ‘grounding’ or ‘earthing’ that involves direct skin contact with the Earth’s surface to transfer free electrons from the ground into the body and which is claimed to offer multiple health benefits.

In terms of deployment, the large GX-1 mat can be placed on a bed beneath a sheet or used on a chair or sofa on top of being used as a yoga mat. The smaller mat is intended for easy deployment such as when seated in a car or bus or plane. It can also be placed like a foot mat. Amezcua also further emphasised that the GX-1 is a lifestyle wellness product and not a medical device.
