Angel Aligner Series and Angel Aligner KiD orthodontic appliances now available in Malaysia for more natural smiles!
When it comes to orthodontic correction, most people typically bring the mental image of braces to mind though new alternatives have become available in Malaysia.
In Malaysia, the Angel Aligner series orthodontic aligners have already seen service for correcting smiles for adults for years but the line-up has now added a new addition dubbed the Angel Aligner KiD that is intended for younger children from as young as 6 years old and up.
What are Angel Aligners and Angel Aligner KiD orthodontic appliances?
Introduced to Malaysia by Titan Digital Solutions and wholly owned by Titan Digital Solutions, the Angel Aligner KiD for younger patients are custom-fitted dental aligners available at selected dentists that gently move a patient’s teeth into the proper position over time. This is also the case for the standard Angel Aligner series orthodontic appliances which are intended for adults.
Intended for teenagers and adults, the Angel Aligner orthodontic appliances are able to correct teeth crowding, spacing, deep overjet, crossbite, deep bite and open bite issues with regular usage over time.
The new Angel Aligner KiD series are intended for use with children as young as 6 years old onwards until the growth of their permanent teeth and are indicated to influence positive teeth, muscle and jaw alignment and growth, correct misaligned or irregular dentition, ensure a proper dental arch, assist in correcting improper mouth breathing which can affect jaw development over time and ensure proper development of lip as well as tongue and cheek muscles for a proper appearance.

Unlike braces which are non-removable for the duration of treatment and often uncomfortable with the risk of food getting trapped between the brackets, the Angel Aligner series, including the Angel Aligner KiD are designed to precisely fit a patient’s teeth and mould it into position over time and are easily removable for meals while being comfortable to wear for extended lengths of time. Best of all, they are almost invisible when worn enabling users to have a more comfortable smile when in use.

Getting started on the Angel Aligner series including the Aligner KiD aligners begins with a consultation with a dentist. After 3D mapping a patient’s teeth with a combination of X-rays and other sophisticated technologies and determining their desired final teeth alignment, a dentist then creates the first set of aligners.
By wearing the Angel Aligner series orthodontic appliances for at least 22 hours a day, the patient’s teeth are gradually moved into place over time in small steps and the aligners are gradually replaced with new aligners as the patient’s teeth are repositioned over time until reaching the final desired outcome. Patients can then wear it with reduced frequency with maintenance sessions over time to retain results.
