Asus is celebrating their 30th anniversary in style with a unique ZenBook Edition 30 notebook
A company in the fast-moving tech industry reaching their 30th anniversary is certainly an achievement and Asus aims to rock their threescore birthday in style with a refreshed array of their svelte ZenBook 13, ZenBook 14 and ZenBook 15 notebooks as well as the unique limited edition ZenBook Edition 30.
Intended to be the epitome of luxuriously elegant computing while exemplifying the ideals that Asus holds dear, the Asus ZenBook Edition 30 comes with an exquisitely handcrafted lid hewn from handcrafted Italian leather done up in a posh shade of Pearl White that is further embellished by an 18-karat rose-gold plated 30th anniversary logo smack dab in the middle to indicate its prestigious status. Asus doesn’t stop there and they’ve gone all the way with edges and a trim bar done up in anodised Rose Gold. It’s also the world’s thinnest 13-inch notebook which adds to its prestigous status.
To complete the picture, the ZenBook Edition 30 is complemented by a distinctively unique set of accessories which consist of a mouse done up in Pearl White, a leatherette box and mouse pad as well as a genuine leather sleeve to lovingly ensconce the laptop.
In terms of hardware, the ZenBook Edition 30 which also bears the model number UX334FL comes in a variety of configurations.
The ZenBook Edition 30 notebook comes with a 13.3-Full HD NanoEdge display with a 95% screen-to-body ratio, up to an Intel Core i7-8565U processor, an NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM, up to 16GB of 2,133MHz RAM, either a 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD or up to a 512GB 3.0 x2 SSD.
Alas the model does not come with the ZenBook Edition 30
Like their new generation of notebooks for 2019, the ZenBook Edition 30 also integrates a 5.65-inch 1080P resolution ScreenPad that acts as a touchpad and as a semi customisable secondary display. Keeping it powered is a 50Wh 3-cell lithum ion battery with a rated 14 hours of battery life. There’s no word on price as yet or if it will appear in Malaysia but we’ll keep you posted.
