Asus releases Zenfone Max Pro M1 with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and better cameras

Asus has had a predilection of late for releasing multiple configurations of their phones with the Zenfone Max Pro M1 enjoying not one but three variants with the first and most affordable one launching earlier in May. Now, they’re rolled out the midtier variant in Malaysia with more RAM, more storage and a better front and rear camera compared to the entry level model for RM300 more.
The entry level Zenfone Max Pro M1 and the newly released midtier model both have a similar Snapdragon 636 processor, 64GB of expandable storage and similarly sized 5,000mAh battery as well as an identical 6-inch FHD+ 18:9 aspect ratio touchscreen up front.

Where it differs is that the midtier model has better front and rear cameras as well as more RAM. To wit, the phone has 4GB RAM and a better 16-MP + 5-MP rear dual camera array with a front-facing 16-MP selfie camera. The cheaper variant that was released earlier has 3GB RAM, 32GB of storage, a 13-MP + 5-MP dual rear camera and a 13-MP selfie camera.
