Asus TUF Gaming F16 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPU takes the field in Malaysia; prices start from RM5,999
Asus unveiled their latest array of TUF Gaming series laptops for Malaysia spearheaded by the TUF Gaming F16 which comes in two Intel-powered variants along with the AMD Ryzen 9000 series powered TUF Gaming A16 and TUF Gaming A14 gaming laptops, all of which come with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 series graphics.
Asus TUF Gaming F16 specs and price
The top of the line variant of the TUF Gaming F16 (FX608) features a 16-inch IPS display with 1,920 x 1,200 pixels resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 165Hz refresh rate. Powering this particular version is an Intel Core i7 14650Hz processor that is paired with 16GB DDR5 RAM, a 1TB SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 mobile GPU with 8GB GDDR7 vRAM. The laptop also has a 90Wh battery and is available for RM6,499.
A slightly more affordable Ass TUF Gaming F16 variant is also available which is otherwise similar but swaps the processor to a more cost efficient 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13450HZ processor and swaps out the storage for a smaller 512GB SSD model. That aside, it has the same NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card, 16GB DDR5 RAM and 90Wh battery. In Malaysia, this version retails for RM5,999.
Asus TUF Gaming A14 and A16 specs and price
For those who prefer AMD Ryzen hardware, you can also acquire the Asus TUF Gaming A-series laptops which have beefier specs but higher price tags. At the top of the the totem pole is the TUF Gaming A14 FA401 which has a 14-inch IPS WQXGA display with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, a 1TB SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 mobile GPU with 8GB GDDR7 vRAM. However, the battery is a bit smaller with 73WHrs capacity. In Malaysia, the Asus TUF Gaming A14 retails for RM7,499.
Also available is the TUF Gaming A16 which has an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor, 16GB DDR5 RAM, a 1TB SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR7 vRAM. This version has a 16-inch IPS display with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution and GDDR7 vRAM and costs RM7,299.
