What is the Asus Vivobook BAPE Edition
The Asus Vivobook BAPE Edition comes in your choice of either a silver colourway with a series of sky blue hued accessories or midnight black with camo green coloured accessories. Regardless of colour the laptops have a special engraved top lid replete with BAPE characters cheerfully scattered about the top lid. Flipping the lid open reveals a full sized keyboard complete with numeric keypad as well as an extra wide touchpad that is also engraved with BAPE characters.
In terms of hardware, the Asus Vivobook BAPE Edition measures in at 17.9mm thin and weighs about 1.6kg but is designed as a serious productivity rig. You get a 15.6-inch 2.8K OLED display with 2,880 x 1,620 pixels resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Under the hood, the Asus Vivobook BAPE Edition for Malaysia only comes in one configuration which consists of a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, a 1TB SSD and Iris Xe graphics. The laptop is also Intel Evo certified which means it boots up in seconds and has solid battery life off its built-in 75Whr battery which can also be charged via a USB-C port.
Bundled with the laptop is a compact carry bag, the BAPE Baby Milo figurine holding the laptop itself, the Asus Marshmallow mouse with a matching case as well as a set of keyboard stickers.
