ASUS reveals ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED UX582 for content creators; priced from RM12,999

Content creators typically need hefty specs and as much screen real estate as possible, qualities which the refreshed ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED UX582 that is now available in Malaysia  has in ample amounts. Also enjoying an OLED display upgrade is the popular ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED UX325. Both models are coming to Malaysia very soon and here’s how much they cost and what they pack under the hood…

ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED UX582 Malaysia Price and Specifications

Seen earlier at CES 2021, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED UX582 has two variants available in Malaysia that are otherwise similar save for what processor they pack with either a 10th Gen Intel Core i9-10980HK or a more affordable Intel Core i7-10870H processor.

The most distinctive aspect of the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED UX582’s design is a large secondary 14-inch UHD touchscreen at the base that doubles as a second screen or as an enhanced control panel for apps or simply as a space to park more open tabs for some serious multitasking.

This is accompanied by the large 15.6-inch OLED 4K touchscreen that has 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage support, is Pantone validated and has a 93% screen-to-body ratio. While prior versions used LCD panels, the addition of an OLED panel adds richer, lusher colour rendition and brightness which makes it all the more desirable for content creators who require colour accuracy when doing their work.

In terms of storage, it ships with 32GB DDR4 RAM, a 1TB NVME PCIe 3.0 SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 mobile GPU with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. In the off-chance you need to live stream or do a video call, it has an IR webcam which has Windows Hello for biometric unlocks.

It’s also amply equipped with ports with a pair of Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, a HDMI 2.1 port and a single USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A port. A bundled stylus also helps content creators get their creative groove on for doodling and artistic endeavours.

In Malaysia, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED UX582 will retail for RM12,999 for the i7 version and RM15,999 for the i9 version from 7th June 2021 onwards at all ASUS authorised dealers and official stores. For more details check out their official page here.

ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED UX325 Malaysia Price and Specifications

Currently the world’s lightest 13-inch OLED display packing laptop, the ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED UX325 also comes in two variants for Malaysia that differ in terms of what processor they pack with your choice of either the 10th Gen Intel Core i9-10980HK or the 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10870H CPU.

Common to both designs is a 13.3-inch Full HD OLED display that has 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage. They’ve also shaved down the side bezels and the side bezels now measure just 2.9mm thin while the bottom remains a bit thick for structural rigidity at 12.9mm.

Under the hood, both variants pack Iris Xe graphics, 8GB DDR4 RAM, a 512GB PCIe NVME 3.0 x2 M.2 SSD along with WiFI 6, Bluetooth 5.0 and an IR webcam with Windows Hello support.

The ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED UX325 also features an ASUS NumberPad 2.0 touchpad which allows it to double as a numeric keypad on demand. Powering it is a 67Wh 4-cell battery rated for up to 13 hours of battery life while remaining highly portable at just 1.14kg in carry weight.

For ports, the ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED UX325 features a pair of Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a HDMI port and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A port.

In Malaysia, the ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED UX325 laptop with an i9-10980HK processor retails for RM4,999 while the version with the i7-10870H processor retails for RM4,299. Both versions are available from 7th June 2021  onwards at all ASUS authorised dealers and official stores.
