BenQ continues lead in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa for 4K projectors
BenQ has continued to grow and prosper even with challenging market conditions as they’ve just announced that they enjoyed unprecedented growth in 4K projector sales in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa region, riding on a wave of phenomenal sales that have resulted in a market share of 35.4% in the three aforementioned regions in Q2 2018.
According to BenQ, these impressive results are on account of their solid offerings that include the BenQ W1700 4K home cinema projector which we also had the pleasure to test a while back. In fact, the W1700 was so good that the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) lauded the W1700 with an EISA Best Buy Projector 2018-2019 award.
According to the official EISA panel, “The W1700 from BenQ brings UHD HDR qualities to big screen projection in the home, at a price which previously only delivered Full HD. BenQ’s optical system leverages a DLP Digital Micromirror Device, in which the pixels of a Full HD array are shifted to four positions per frame, giving a UHD experience with crisp, bright and brilliant images. Colours are impressively accurate straight out of the box, and 3D playback is offered for that extra level of cinematic immersion. The compact cabinet makes the W1700 easy to install, while its onscreen menus are packed with tools and adjustments. As a way to upgrade to UHD projection, the W1700’s combination of quality and value are irresistible.”
Brian Lee, BenQ Malaysia’s General Manager said, ““We are delighted that the BenQ W1700 projector has received recognition from EISA as this positions it as one of the most high-valued home cinema projectors out there.” He added, “BenQ will continue to embrace innovative technologies to release an entire lineup to revolutionise and popularise 4K home projectors as an integral part of everyone’s home cinema viewing experience.” For more details on BenQ, swing by their official website at www.benq.com.my
