Dell Technologies debuts Latitude 5300 2-in-1 and 5400 Chromebook Enterprise
Chromebooks are seeing a gradual growth in popularity in environments that require a highly secure operating system with easy deployability such as classrooms and the like. That kind of robustness and versatility is exactly why that Dell has debuted their Dell Latitude Chromebook Enterprise series notebooks in the form of the Latitude 5300 and Latitude 5400 for corporate concerns in Malaysia and the world.
Both the Dell Latitude 5300 2-in-1 and Latitude 5400 Chromebook Enterprise come in a variety of configurations, depending on user requirements along with the requisite array of security features to ensure each terminal is secure that include the Dell Data Guardian Cloud to protect sensitive corporate data.
As you’d surmise, both new notebooks run Chrome OS which is exceptionally secure as an operating system. Both notebooks are also exceptionally robust as well with a sturdiness that lends well to road warriors.
The Dell Latitude 5300 2-in-1 Chromebook Enterprise comes with a 13.3-inch Full HD touchscreen that pivots on a 360-degree hinge that lets you use it as either a notebook or a tablet at will, up to an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor running Google Chrome, up to 32GB RAM, Intel UHD Graphics 620 and up to a 1TB M.2 PCIe/NVMe solid state drive. Battery options differ but you can kit it out with up to a 4-cell 60Whr battery.
The Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook Enterprise has a traditional notebook form factor and comes with up to a 14-inch Full HD touch display though you can scale down to a HD non-touch panel if you’re looking to save a bit of dosh. The rest of the hardware consists of up to an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, up to 32GB RAM, up to a 1TB M.2 PCIE/NVMe SSD and up to a 4-cell 68 Whr battery.
