Dyson Malaysia is ramping things up ahead of the upcoming Merdeka holidays with an impressively generous trade-in #CuttheCord programme that lets you get your very own Dyson Cyclone V11 cordless vacuum with an RM500 rebate by simply tossing in your old vacuum.

The Dyson #CuttheCord campaign takes place starting today and is valid till 30 September 2019. 

During this period, you can walk into any of Dyson’s participating outlets and trade in your old corded or cordless vacuum cleaner. It doesn’t matter whether your old vacuum cleaner works or not – as long you bring it for trade-in, you will get a whopping RM500 rebate off the purchase of a brand new Dyson V11 Absolute cordless vacuum. At its full retail price, the Dyson Cyclone V11 Absolute retails for RM3,399. With the RM500 rebate, you are getting it at RM2,899 which is quite a deal. Just to make it crystal clear, the RM500 trade-in rebate goes immediately towards buying a new V11 Absolute in the store and only that.

To recap, the Dyson Cyclone V11 is the brand’s most powerful cordless vacuum to date. You have a trigger-shaped assembly with a built-in battery along with Dyson’s patented Cyclone V11 digital motor that can suck dust, dirt and pollen as small as 0.3 microns into a transparent dust container that you can dispose of with one easy pull of a slider. The new Cyclone V11 also adds in a rear LCD readout where you can see how much battery life is left on the Cyclone V11 and if there are any obstructions that may impede its suction power. 

Even better, the V11 is able to intelligently adjust its level of suction via the use of an intelligent High Torque head attachment depending on what you use it on be it hard floors or carpet. On Eco mode, the V11 is able to offer an hour’s worth of battery life which is exceptional for a cordless vacuum.

The Dyson #CuttheCord trade-in programme is also available for last year’s models the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute and the Dyson Cyclone V10 Fluffy with the same terms though you only get an RM300 rebate only which is still pretty generous. 

But wait, there’s more – Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute and Dyson V10 Fluffy promotions too on top of the Cyclone V11

Even so, the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute is an impressive powerful cordless vacuum indeed and it’s but a few steps behind the Cyclone V11 with it having just a bit less suction power and no rear LED indicator. Currently, the Cyclone V10 Absolute originally retails for RM2,999 but it gets an RM200 discount off the bat till 31 August for their Merdeka celebration promotions so it’s temporarily available at RM2,799. If you opt for the trade-in option, you get it at RM2,699.

The Cyclone V10 Fluffy, which is similar to the V10 Absolute save for a few less attachment heads for the vacuum itself originally retails for RM2,499 though the Merdeka celebration means you can acquire it for RM200 off for a revised price of RM2,299 till the end of the month. If you go fo rthe trade-on option, you can get an RM300 rebate which pegs it down to RM2,199 which is quite a steal.

Like the V11 Absolute trade-in the trade-in programmes for the Dyson V10 Absolute and V10 Fluffy are immediate and go straight towards knocking the price off said items on purchase.
