EPOS360 BlueTap launched in Malaysia to empower SMEs with AI and seamless payment capabilities

TNG Digital and EPOS have jointly announced the launch of EPOS360 in Malaysia which comes with a cornucopia of AI-powered marketing tools and payment capabilities to support the digitalisation of Malaysian SMEs as well as the EPOS 360 BlueTap payment terminal. For the uninitiated, TNG Digital is the operator of TNG eWallet while EPOS is Ant International’s SME transformation arm.

What are EPOS360 and EPOS360 BlueTap?

In effect, EPOS360 is a new mini-app within the TNG eWallet app that offers direct access to AI-powered tools, integrated payments and marketing capabilities for Malaysian merchants. 

EPOS360 leverages AI to offer end-to-end digitalisation such as helping to create online menus and assisting with marketing in the form of AI-generated campaigns and creatives, all in an easy, seamless fashion.

By leveraging the power of AI and the ubiquity of the TNG eWallet app, merchants using EPOS360 can also harness complimentary in-app marketing services like the Near Me feature and expand their digital presence on social media channels. Later on, EPOS360 will offer a one-click store launch feature that helps SMEs get up and running with minimal effort.

Alongside EPOS360, TNG Digital and EPOS also introduced EPOS360 BlueTap, an over-the-counter payment solution that supports multiple payment methods in one terminal that include TNG eWallet, DuitNow QR, major eWallets and card payments too. It retails for RM299 but is available for just RM199 as an introductory offer for a limited time with the aforementioned AI marketing services bundled in at no additional cost when merchants purchase the terminal.

What makes EPOS360 BlueTap of particular value to merchants is that it helps to address common pain points. The BlueTap terminal has a sound box that offers a clear audio ping to notify that a payment transaction is successful which helps save on missed payments and smooths payments during peak hours. The terminal also ensures a more reliable and smoother checkout experience and will enjoy greater functionality over time as additional payment types are added over time.
