Experian Malaysia kicks off GenAI Tech Week to share the power of Generative AI
As one of the world’s foremost global information services companies, Experian is a powerhouse that operates in 32 countries and has over 152,000 clients on their roster. To share the transformative power of Generative AI (GenAI), Experian Malaysia launched an intensive three-day event dubbed as GenAI Tech Week which saw hundreds converging on Cyberjaya to find out more how GenAI could transform organisational processes for the better.
What is Experian Malaysia’s GenAI Tech Week about
GenAI Tech Week saw participants from a host of organisations and management levels participating in an intensive series of workshops and interactive sessions with an emphasis on being a collaborative environment as well as a curriculum that emphasises both practical skills and knowledge in order to unlock the full potential of GenAI especially for non technical staff.
As a passionate advocate of GenAI, Experience leverages it in almost every aspect of their operations. “At Experian, we believe everyone deserves the chance to harness the power of AI. That’s why we equip our workforce, regardless of technical background, with foundational GenAI skills.” said Chua Chai Ping, Country Head and HR Director of Experian Malaysia. “So far we have trained 94% of our global employees on what is GenAI and how to use it safely and securely at Experian. We are empowering them to leverage this powerful technology and drive innovation across the company.”
To further fuel creativity, Experian also hosts GenAI Global and Regional level Hackathons, Coding Camps and GenAI Tech Talk series to employees with ample opportunities to develop next-generation applications. To date, Experian has identified over 500 use cases to implement its technologies across a host of operations ranging from content creation to streamlining data intake and structuring.
