Galaxy A22 5G features a 90Hz display and triple rear camera for RM999

Alongside the newly released Galaxy M32, Samsung Malaysia has also debuted another affordable proposition dubbed the Galaxy A22 5G for RM999.

The Galaxy A22 5G is a slightly different proposition from the recently released Galaxy M32 with a slightly different feature set that future-proofs it somewhat and makes it ideal for gaming by featuring 5G connectivity and a 6.6-inch Full HD+ TFT display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The combination of next-gen connectivity and a high refresh rate panel makes it ideal for fast moving mobile games like Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG and Genshin Impact.

In terms of the rest of the hardware, the Galaxy A22 5G features a 2GHz octacore processor, 8GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The rear camera is a relatively modest triple camera array with a 48MP camera, a 5MP wide angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera has an 8MP sensor for videocalls.

Keeping the phone powered is a 5,000mAh battery which offers plenty of juice for gaming along with 15W fast charging support.
