The new firmware update makes the Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 worth a look. Here’s why
The Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 phones were launched earlier this year in Malaysia and represent the upper tier of their midrange A-series line-up short of their flagship Galaxy S series phones.
Their latest Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 update adds in a host of camera features from their flagship camera S20 series that make them one of the best workhorses in their price range. Here’s what they’ve added….
The firmware update that is pushed to the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 primarily features enhancements to the camera. The biggest addition is their Single Take mode that captures shots in a host of different modes with just one press of the button. This particular mode comes in very handy so you don’t miss the moment.
The new Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 update also adds in a full-featured Pro mode with all the features you’d see in the higher-end Galaxy S20 series including manual focus and fine control over shutter speed. This helps get even more out of the phone’s cameras and in the hands of a relatively skilled photographer, you can eke out some pretty darned good shots.
There’s also a bunch of subtler updates that make using the phone and navigating it much easier. Check out their official list of changes here. In the meantime, you can check out our review of the Galaxy A51 here and the Galaxy A71 review here.
