Galaxy Tab A 2019 brings you an ultra affordable tablet experience for just RM599

If you’re looking for an affordable workhorse slate that is wide enough to let you get your movie watching on the go and comfortably large enough to pore through an ebook or website one-handed, Samsung has got you covered with their new Galaxy Tab A 2019 8.0-inch that brings in a large display and a huge 5,100mAh battery for RM599.

For the price of entry, you’re getting an 8.0-inch touchscreen with 1,280 x 0800 pixel resolution clad in a metal chassis, a Qualcomm 2.0GHz octacore processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage along with a built-in microSD card slot that supports up to 512GB cards along with a SIM card slot for mobile data so you needn’t be tethered to the mains. The rear sports an 8-MP camera while the front has a 2-MP selfie cam with the whole affair powered by a relatively large 5,100mAh battery.

Other mod-cons include a 3.5mm audio jack along with a pair of speakers emplaced at the base of the Galaxy Tab A 2019, which is where the charging port is if you hold it in portrait mode and to the right in landscape mode. Even with a battery this large, the Galaxy Tab A 2019 proves to be relatively lightweight at just 347g.
