GoPro’s new HERO6 Black captures 4K60 video and HDR pics for RM2399
GoPro’s latest incarnation of their action cameras dubbed the GoPro HERO6 Black has just been launched in Malaysia. The HERO6 Black has the dimensions of a matchbox done up in matte black plastic that is waterproof to 10M in water, allowing for quite a few creative options.
The HERO6 Black sports a raft of improvements that include improved dynamic range and better low light performance across the board with videos captured in 4K at 60fps or 1080p at 240fps for ultra slo-mo video footage. On top of snagging lush video, users can also snap 12-MP pics at 30 frames per second. All this is possible on account GoPro’s new custom-made GP1 chip, a first for the brand as they are able to define performance to their specifications rather than having to run around eking out performance from an existing chip.
Captured footage can then be piped off to your hardware of choice via the HERO6’s nippy 5GHz Wi-Fi chip which is three times faster than its predecessors. The HERO6 Black also sports voice commands, allowing you to command it in a score of languages. The camera is also fortunately compatible with all current existing GoPro accessories. The GOPRO Hero6 Black retails for RM2,399 and is available nationwide in Malaysia via authorised dealers. For more details swing by www.gopro.com
