Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 speaker launched in Malaysia; yours for RM1,599

The new Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 wireless speaker has just been launched in Malaysia and is up for preorders. The design combines a beefy sound system and a built-in lighting setup to create a combined listening and trippy lighting experience in a compact form factor.

What is the Harmon Kardon Aura Studio 5 speaker?

In terms of build and design, the Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 wireless speaker features a three-way speaker setup that consists of six 40mm-full-range drivers, a dedicated 5.25-inch subwoofer and a 25mm tweeter for up to 160W RMS output and all-round 360-degree sound. 

The Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 features Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and also has Auracast support to pair up two Aura Studio 5 units or other compatible speakers for a richer, more immersive stereo listening experience.

One thing to note though is that the speaker lacks WiFi connectivity; a WiFi enabled model is slated to arrive in Malaysia sometime early next year.

What sets the Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 apart from the competition is that it packs a lighting projection system that can project unique lighting effects onto nearby surfaces to create an immersive listening experience.

Out of the box, you get five selectable lighting themes to choose from which consist of Ocean, Aurora, Blossom, Sunrise and Fireplace, all of which are selectable from the Harman Kardon ONE mobile app. The app also lets you tweak the sound settings to taste.

In Malaysia, the Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 is officially priced at RM1,599. At present, the Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 is available for preorders from 7 to 10 November 2025 and those who preorder will get a special premium gift set worth RM399 while stocks last.

The speaker will be available in retail from 11 November 2025 onwards at Harman Kardon’s official online stores on Lazada, Shopee and Swap Asia.
