Fun Heineken Celebrate Boring campaign launches Boring Phone to get everyone to reconnect

When it comes to gatherings these days, you’re more likely than not to encounter everyone else, be it friends or family with their eyes glued to their phones. To help everyone to reconnect, the new Heineken Celebrate Boring campaign encourages everyone to ‘disconnect to reconnect’ and to also debut the launch of a new limited edition Heineken Boring Phone that helps people truly reconnect with each other over the holidays.

Heineken Celebrate Boring Campaign Highlights

The Heineken Celebrate Boring campaign will offer an array of fun activities to celebrate the coming holiday season. From 6 December, the Heineken 404 Boring Meme challenge kicks off and participants simply need to repost a meme on Instagram Stories, set their account to Public and also tag @HeinekenMY to win exclusive passes to Heineken Boring Social Parties taking place nationwide throughout December 2024.

There will also be special Heineken ‘Phones Off, Night On’ experiences at selected pubs and bars nationwide where special Heineken Phone Lockers allow consumers to safely lock and charge their phone while enjoying a great experience catching up with friends in person and a pint of Heineken.

Another aspect of the Heineken Celebrate Boring is the chance to win the limited Edition Boring Phone that resembles a vintage clamshell phone from the turn of the century and deliberately strips social media and cameras from the design to only offer the essentials so that users are reminded that less is more. To stand a chance to win the Boring Phone, patrons simply need to buy a bucket of Heineken or two cans of Heineken 0.0 at participating bars.
