Hollyland Max 2 and Lark A1 wireless mic preorders now up in Malaysia, prices start from RM169

Hollyland previously released their compact and affordable Lark M2S near the start of the year in Malaysia but they’re looking to diversify their line-up with the launch of the premium Hollyland Max 2 as well as the more modest Hollyland Lark A1 wireless microphones, both of which are now on preorder on their Shopee online store.

For those looking to get started in content creation, the Hollyland Lark A1 is a compact, affordable plug-and-play solution that offers up 48kHz/24-bit sound recording with 3-level intelligent noise cancellation, adjustable EQ, reverb and 6-level gain control with an intelligent auto-limit to balance volume levels for distortion-free audio. 

The mics themselves are thumb-sized, compact and lightweight just 8g while featuring a magnet to let it securely attach to clothing while offering up to a 200m transmission range. In terms of endurance, the Hollyland Lark A1 offers up to 54 hours of continuous operation by alternating with its two transmitters. 

Prices for the Hollyland Lark Ai start from RM169 for the mini USB-C version which has two transmitters and the receiver, the Mini Lightning configuration which has a Lightning port receiver and two transmitters for RM199, the Type-C version that adds on the charging case for RM219 and the top of the line combo model for RM319 which has both a Lightning and USB-C receiver, two transmitters and the charging case for RM319.

The more premium Hollyland Max 2 elevates audio recording capture to a whole new level. You get 32-bit full-chain wireless recording with up to 48kHz/32-bit float recording that allows the system to capture up to 14 hours of uncompressed audio as a backup while AI noise cancellation technology filters out ambient on demand for clear audio.

Content creators will appreciate the auto timecoding and the transmitters offer up to 340m range within line of sight. Battery life is respectable as well with 11 hours or so with up to 36 hours of endurance with the charging case. Even with all the sophisticated hardware, the transmitters are light, weighing just 14g with a hover-clip and magnet system for maximum comfort.

Seeing the impressive hardware with the Hollyland Max 2, it has a slightly longer preorder period until 25 June 2025 and prices start from RM1,169 for the base Combo bundle, RM1,299 for the Ultimate Combo and RM1,449 for the Combo 4P that has all the bells and whistles.
