Honor 50 Malaysia preorders now live from RM1,699 with generous RM550 in gifts
The anticipated Honor 50 smartphone that was announced awhile back is now finally up for preorder in Malaysia with RM550 in free gifts. In terms of pricing, the Honor 50 Malaysia preorders have the phone priced from RM1,699 and up depending on variant.
To refresh your memory, the Honor 50 is one of their first phones since their departure as a subbrand of Huawei to feature Google Mobile Services once again. The hardware in the Honor 50 consists of a 6.57-inh FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 778G 5G processor paired with either 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage or 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
The rear sports a quad camera array built around a main 108MP F/19 camera with PDAF, a secondary 8MP ultra wide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth camera while the front features a 32MP selfie camera. Keeping it powered is a 4,300mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
Honor 50 Malaysia prices and free gifts
For Malaysia, the Honor 50 with 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage comes at RM1,699 in your choice of Midnight Black or a reflective Honor Code crystal finish with the Honor monogram. The Honor 50 with 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage retails for RM1,999 and can be acquired in Frost Crystal, Emerald Green and Midnight Black.
In terms of free gifts, the cheaper RM1,699 model comes with a free case and a 1+1 extended warranty worth RM250 while the pricier RM1,999 model gets you the case, the same warranty and a pair of Honor Earbuds 2 lite worth a collective RM550.
