HONOR takes second spot in China top 5 smartphone brand sales for Q1 2022
HONOR is making a name for themselves after emerging from the shadow of their former associates in Huawei and based on the latest reports from CINNO Research, the brand has achieved a prestigious position in the smartphone market in China.
According to CINNO Research, HONOR has achieved a vaunted second position spot with 12.8 million smartphones sold and nipping on the heels of Oppo while achieving a lofty 176% year-on-year increase in sales. This impetus in sales is driven by their recent line-up of smartphones sold, spearheaded by their HONOR Magic 4 Pro 5G smartphone and based on an official statement, the brand will be bringing said phone to Malaysia.
According to HONOR, their Magic 4 Pro 5G smartphone is slated for arrival in the near future though they haven’t yet furnished exact details or specific configurations for the phone.
In terms of hardware, the HONOR Magic 4 Pro 5G features a 6.81-inch 120Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, a rear triple camera array (50MP+50MP and a 64MP with 3.5x zoom) with a front-facing 12MP selfie camera. Keeping it powered is a 4,600mAh battery with 100W fast charging and the phone runs on Android 12 with their own Magic UI with Google Play support.
