Honor Magic V5 coming to Malaysia; teaser 8.8mm thinness

It’s foldable season as major brands are set to unleash their latest foldable flagships across the globe. Honor has teased that the new Honor Magic V5 foldable will be coming to Malaysia soon and that it has an exceptional slimness of 8.8mm when folded. There’s no exact date yet or details of the customary preorder specials but odds are good that it is likely to be in early July 2025.

Honor Magic V5 – What we know so far

Astute readers will note that the Honor Magic V5’s immediate predecessor was the Honor Magic V3 that was released last year; there’s no missing V4 as they’ve skipped one number due to the Chinese cultural aversion to the number four. That interesting cultural easter egg aside, the Honor Magic V5’s 8.8mm slimness when folded down is a substantial improvement over the Magic V3’s 9.2mm slim dimensions. Beyond these teasers, Honor Malaysia has yet to mention exact details as to the Honor Magic V5’s specifications.
