Honor Magic5 Pro Coral Purple camphone and Pad X9 tablet now available in Malaysia
Honor is expanding their line-up in Malaysia with a new Coral Purple colourway for their best selling Magic Pro flagship phone as well as a new budget tablet that throws in everything but the kitchen sink dubbed the HONOR Pad X9.
HONOR Magic5 Pro Coral Purple Specs and Price
In terms of hardware, the HONOR Magic Pro Coral Purple features similar hardware as its Meadow Green and Classic Black hued siblings but where it differs is that it has a striking soft pastel purple faux leather backplate that feels sensuous to the touch.
Under the hood, you get a 6.81-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and support for HDR10+ content and 100% DCI-P3 paired with a top of the line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB of non-expandable storage and a rear triple 50MP camera array as well as a front-facing 12MP camera for selfies. Keeping the phone powered is a 5,100mAh battery with fast 66W wired charging. An interesting bonus is that HONOR bundles in a charger, a USB-C cable and a casing with the phone itself which adds additional value to the phone.

HONOR Pad X9 Price and Specs
The Honor Pad X9 retails for only RM1,099 but packs in a surprising amount of value. On top of the tablet itself, you also get a free keyboard case as well as a charger and USB-C cable which means you get everything you need out of the box. In terms of hardware, the HONOR Pad X9 comes with an 11.5-inch TFT LCD display with 1,200 x 2,000 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Spaced around the display itself are six speakers which makes this a sweet choice for movies and gaming.
Under the hood the tablet features a Snapdragon 685 processor running Android 13 and their own MagicOS overlay, 4GB RAM with an additional 3GB of virtual RAM assigned off the onboard 128GB of expandable storage. Of note is that unlike many budget tablets, it has a SIM tray for 4G LTE as well as a microSD card slot to expand the onboard storage which makes it a solid all-rounded indeed.
