Honor Magic8 Pro officially unveiled as Selected Photography Equipment for Visit Malaysia 2026
Ahead of its official launch in Malaysia, Honor gave a preview of their latest flagship phone and officially revealed that it will be the Selected Photography Equipment for the upcoming Visit Malaysia Year 2026 event.
Held on the 98th floor of the Merdeka 118 skyscraper, the event enabled Honor to showcase the Honor Magic8 Pro’s powerful imaging capabilities from its powerful triple camera array that consists of a main 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto camera that features an industry-leading CIPA 5.5-level of stabilisation with optical image stabilisation (OIS), making it one of the steadiest, judder-free phones that money can buy in the market.
Accompanying this is a 50MP Ultra night Main Camera with a bright f/1.6 aperture and OIS as well as a 50MP ultra wide camera with a 122-degree angle of view. Other entails are scarce for now but the phone will have AI editing capabilities and a ‘Magic Color’ filter feature.

Alongside the launch of the Honor Magic8 Pro, Honor Malaysia is also putting the word out for 50 photographers to capture the true soul of Malaysia with their titular flagship phone itself that will be showcased across Honor’s official social platforms to a global audience.
