Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 and Honor MagicPad 3 launched in Malaysia
Honor Malaysia has expanded their smart ecosystem of devices in Malaysia with the debut of their Honor MagicPad 3 tablet as well as their refreshed Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025.
What makes Honor’s devices compelling is their Honor Connect that offers seamless connectivity that allows users to transfer files between Windows, Android and iOS devices which makes it appealing for those who own gear from different ecosystems.
Both the Honor MagicPad 3 and the Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 will be available from 22 August onwards. Here’s how both of their new devices stack up on paper:
Honor MagicPad 3 specs and price
The Honor MagicPad 3 is the successor to last year’s MagicPad 2 tablet and is just 5.79mm thin while weighing 595g on its own. Available in either white or gray colourways, the Honor MagicPad 3 comes with a 13.3-inch LCD display with 3,200 x 2,136 pixels resolution, up to a 165Hz refresh rate, a 91% screen-to-body ratio, 291ppi and 700 nits peak brightness.

The tablet is also ideal for content creators as it features 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut for accurate colour reproduction onscreen. The display is flanked by 8 speakers with four high frequency and four low frequency speakers.
Powering the Honor MagicPad 3 is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset running Android 15 and MagicOS 9.0.1, 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage. To ensure sustained, stable operations, the tablet has what they refer to as an Honor Ice Cooling System that combines a vapour chamber and graphite layer to vent heat away from the chipset.

The rear hosts a dual camera array with a 13MP main camera and a macro camera while the front has a single 9MP camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity is top notch with fast WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. Keeping it powered is a 12,450mAh lithium polymer battery augmented by Honor’s E2 Power Enhance Chip that optimises battery drain for better endurance.

In terms of pricing, the Honor MagicPad 3 is priced at RM2,999 in Malaysia and ships with free gifts worth RM998 that include an Honor MagicPad 3 Smart Touch keyboard and the Honor Magic-Pencil 3 stylus which makes it a rather comprehensive productivity platform out of the box.

Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 specs and price
The successor to last year’s MagicBook Art 14, the refreshed model sports a Mocha Brown finish that is Pantone’s colour of the year and features an ultralight chassis that weighs 1.03kg while being just 11.5mm thin thanks to the use of a magnesium alloy frame that reduces weight by 30% compared to its predecessor.

The key draw to the laptop is its detachable webcam that docks into a bay on the left that you can pop out and pop on top of the display for video calls.

The display of the Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 consists of a 14.6-inch OLED touch display that has 3,120 x 20,08 pixels resolution, a tall 3:2 aspect ratio, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a generous 97% screen-to-body ratio thanks to narrow bezels.
What makes it special this time around is an 8-layer nano anti-reflective coating that significantly reduces ambient light reflections especially under direct sunlight and overhead lit conditions.

The display also offers up to 1,600 nits peak brightness and has 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut which makes it ideal for content creators. Powering the Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 is an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor paired with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM as well as 1TB SSD and Intel Arc 140T integrated graphics.

In terms of connectivity, the laptop has a 3.5mm audio jack, a HDMI 2.1 port, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 and a pair of Thunderbolt 4 ports. Keeping the whole affair powered is a 60Wh li-polymer battery that’s rated for about 13.2 hours of video playback time.

In Malaysia, the Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 is priced at RM5,999 as well as free gifts worth RM508 that include a backpack and a 1-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal. For more details on both devices, check out Honor’s official page at https://www.honor.com/my/
