Honor lauded with over 70 awards at MWC 2026
Honor has been on a roll of late and their latest run at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona has them netting them over 70 media awards across multiple categories including Augmented Human Intelligence vision, Robotics Innovation, Flagship Foldables and Expanding AI Device Ecosystem thanks to their new Honor Magic V6 foldable phone, MagicPad 4 tablet and MagicBook Pro 14 (2026) laptop.
Honor highlights at MWC 2026
Taking centrestage at MWC 2026 was the Honor Robot phone, a concept phone design with an elaborate 3-axis camera on a gimbal mounted on the rear of the phone for superior stabilisation especially when filming footage and taking video calls. There’s no official word on its exact specifications but it made the rounds at MWC 2026 with one tech portable describing it as a ‘highly mobile, tiny personal robot that is adorable’.
A leap in durability, performance and slimness above the Honor Magic V5 from last year, the new Honor Magic V6 at MWC 2026 also made waves as being the first foldable to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor while featuring IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance. It also features a reinforced Super Steel hinge rated for up to 500,000 fold and unfold motions. On paper, the Honor Magic V6 is slated for initial deployment in China in March with a global rollout later in the year
The Honor Magic V6 was also lauded with a ‘Best Disruptive Device Innovation’ for its silicon-carbon battery that features 25% silicon content and 985 Wh/L energy density.
The Honor MagicPad 4 features a a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and a 12.3-inch 3K OLED 165Hz display crammed into a 4.8mm thin display. Of note is its ability for cross-device collaboriation for seamless interactivity between other device ecosystems like Apple’s ecosystem along with OpenClaw AI assistant. Official details are scarce for the Honor MagicBook Pro 14 save that it runs on Intel Core Ultra series 3 processors and a 14.6-inch OLED display.
