Honor Pad 20 Pro and Honor Pad 20 tablets launched in Malaysia; prices start from RM1,999 with 15% student discounts
Honor has officially launched their Pad 20 tablet series in Malaysia that consist of the top of the line Honor Pad 20 Pro which has a paperlike matte display as well as the Honor Pad 20 that comes in WiFi-only and 5G-enabled variants with prices that start from RM1,999.
Intended to offer a PC like experience, the tablets have support for up to 15 resizable and open windows on paper and also has PC-Class WPS Office installed for desktop-style productivity. The tablets also feature Honor Notes and AI Memo to transcribe and summarise lectures and notes.
Honor Pad 20 Specs

The Honor Pad 20 comes in two variants in Malaysia that are mostly similar save for slight differences in RAM, cameras and connectivity. Common to both Honor Pad 20 variants is a 12.1-inch 3K LCD panel (3,000 x 1,872 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate and a TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light and flicker-free performance. Both variants also use a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and also feature a 10,100mAh battery with 45W wired charging.
The Honor Pad 20 WiFi sticks to just WiFi connectivity, has 6GB RAM and 256GB of storage with the option to add up to 6GB virtual RAM via their Honor RAM Turbo feature off onboard storage for up to 12GB combined RAM.
The rear also hosts a single 8MP camera on the rear and the front. In the case of the Honor Pad 20 5G, you get 8GB RAM with an 8GB of virtual RAM off the onboard 256GB of storage. The rear has a 13MP camera while the front sticks with an 8MP camera.

In terms of hardware, the Honor Pad 20 Pro outguns the Honor Pad 20 with a beefy Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor paired with 8GB RAM and up to 8GB of virtual Honor RAM Turbo off the onboard 256GB of storage.
Its biggest draw is a 12.1-inch 3K 165Hz Paperlike display which has a matte finish that creates a paperlike writing experience. The rear has a 13MP camera while the front has an 8MP selfie camera. Where they have some degree of commonality is the retention of a 10,1000mAH battery with 45W wired charging.
Honor Pad 20 series Malaysia prices
In terms of pricing the Honor Pad 20 Pro with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage along with WiFi only connectivity is available priced at RM2,499. The Honor Pad 20 WiFi with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage is available priced at RM1,999 while the Honor Pad 20 5G with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage retails for RM2,299.
Purchases include free gifts worth up to RM898 for the Pro model that include a Bluetooth keyboard case and Honor Magic Pencil 4S for the Pro and free gifts worth RM798 for the base models.
Prospective buyers who are still students can get a 15% Education Savings discount with the Pad 20 series getting a 15% discount though you need to login to Honor’s online web store with your official academic email address and get it verified.
