Honor Pad X9a with free keyboard and stylus launched in Malaysia; prices start from RM999

Announced a few weeks ago, the Honor Pad X9a will be officially hitting store shelves in Malaysia this coming 25 April 2025 with a WiFi only and LTE-enabled variant with the former retailing for RM999 and the latter at RM1,299. Regardless, purchasing either variant gets you a free Bluetooth keyboard and a stylus worth RM598 and a free iQIYI VIP membership worth RM598.

Honor Pad X9a specs

Both variants of the Honor Pad X9a have the same 11.5-inch 2.5K FullView display for binge-watching Netflix and also features a Snapdragon 685 CPU running Android 15 and their own Honor Magic OS 9.0 while an 8,300mAh battery keeps the lights on with a rated 11.7 hours of movie streaming before needing a recharge with the tablet offering 35W wired fast charging.

The tablet also has four speakers for extra acoustic oomph with a 20)% volume boost in case you need to share your tastes in movies (or lack thereof) with your immediate neighbours.

The higher-end LTE-enabled version has 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage along with a SIM card slot for LTE connectivity while the WiFi only version is cheaper, also has 12GB RAM but only has 128GB of storage.

WIth the free bundled keyboard and stylus, it also has quite a bit of utility for paperwork too for processing emails or the odd report or two on the go. The tablet can be purchased at all Honor stores nationwide, online via their website and through the usual online venues including Shopee, Lazada and the TikTok shop as well as authorised partners such as Senheng and Harvey Norman.
