HONOR X40 slated for Malaysia deployment with higher specifications

The HONOR X40 is coming to Malaysia after its official launch in China today with a raft of upgrades and likely a new designation.

What is the HONOR X40

According to an official statement, the HONOR X40 has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a large 5,100mAh battery and has undergone a robust battery of tests to ensure its durability including drops to marble and concrete.

While upgrades will appear, what aspects of the phone will get upgunned haven’t been announced and at this point in time is purely open to speculation. We’ll keep you posted when we get more details.

In lieu of that, HONOR Malaysia is also announcing that an entry-level phone, designated as the HONOR X6 will be arriving next month in early October. There’s precious little official data on the phone save that it has 128GB of built-in storage. In the meantime, you can keep an eye out on HONOR”s official page here.
