Honor X7

The Honor X7 is the cheapest phone in the new line-up at RM699 with a 6.74-inch LCD display up front with a modest HD+ resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. Running under the hood is a Snapdragon 680 processor with 4GB RAM, up to 2GB VRAM and 128GB of storage with the phone retaining access to Google Mobile services via Android 11 and their Magic UI 4.2 OS. One thing to note is that it lacks 5G and maxes out at 4G LTE connectivity.

On the rear, the phone has a quad camera array with a primary 48MP camera, a 5MP wide angle camera and a 2MP depth camera and 2MP macro camera to round things off while the front hosts an 8MP selfie camera. Keeping it powered is a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W SuperCharge fast charge support. Colour choices are Titanium Silver and Ocean Blue.

Honor X8

Slightly higher up the totem pole from the X7 is the Honor X8 that’s priced at RM899. While it’s a bit smaller than the Honor X7, it has a sharper 6.7-inch Full HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also runs on a Snapdragon 680 CPU with Android 11 and Magic UI 4.2 under the hood with 6GB RAM, up to 2GB VRAM and 128GB of storage.

The rear comes with a quad camera array built around a primary 64MP camera, a 5MP ultra wide angle camera and a 2MP depth and 2MP macro camera. Up front, it has a larger 16MP selfie camera. Keeping it powered is a smaller 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W SuperCharge support. Colour choices consist of Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue and Midnight Black.

Honor X9 5G and Honor X9

The top of the line Honor X9 5G has the best hardware that the brand has to offer. Up front, it has a 6.81-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,388 x 1080 pixels resolution. The phone runs the same Android 11 with Magic UI 4.2 OS under the hood as its siblings but on a more powerful Snapdragon 695 CPU with a 5G CPU paired with 8GB RAM, up to 2GB VRAM and 128GB of storage.

The backplate features a triple camera housing with a somewhat similar aesthetic to the erstwhile Mate30 Pro release awhile back with a primary 48MP camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Selfies are tackled by a 16MP selfie camera. Keeping the phone powered is a 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. This version clocks in at RM1,299.

For RM1,099, you can get the non-5G enabled variant which maxes out at 4G LTE that is mostly similar save for a lower 90Hz refresh rate, a more modest Snapdragon 680 CPU and a different quad camera array that consists of a 64MP camera, an 8MP ultra wide angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera. It still retains a similar 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Colour choices are Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue and Midnight Black.
