That’s not all, HONOR X9e Pro preorder customers also get an RM100 cash rebate, bringing the price down to as low as RM1,799.

No matter how you slice it, the HONOR X9e Pro makes for a great deal indeed! On its own merits, the HONOR X9e Pro is a solid midrange phone with potent flagship-grade features – here’s 9 upgrades that HONOR has crammed in that make it a bargain you just can’t miss!

HONOR X9e Pro – Industry-largest 11,000mAh Battery

2026 is certainly a year to remember for big-battery phones with multiple brands pushing large-capacity models with almost all capping their offerings with a 10,000mAh battery. The new HONOR X9e Pro leaves the competition in the dust with an absolutely massive 11,000mAh – the largest in the industry and bigger than many powerbanks.

Based on official test results from HONOR, the HONOR X9e Pro’s 11,000mAh battery is able to offer up to 66.8 hours of video playback, up to 164.5 hours of music playback or up to 35.6 hours of short video browsing, enabling you to get through an entire long weekend on just a single charge.

Even better, charging speeds keep pace too with the HONOR X9e Pro supporting 80W wired charging for fast top-ups along with 27W reverse wired charging to charge another device like a friend’s phone in a pinch.

HONOR X9e Pro – Industry-leading Durability

When the original HONOR X9 debuted in 2022, it set a standard for smartphone durability. Every successive generation since has raised the bar even higher.

Leveraging the crash-beam principle used in race cars, the HONOR X9e Pro’s chassis uses a full-surface adhesive bonding solution that completely replaces the traditional backing adhesive entirely for greater durability and resistance to impacts while holding up to impacts across 10+ real-world ground surfaces across all 8 major impact points of the phone.

This impressive durability has netted the HONOR X9e Pro a prestigious SGS Premium Performance Certification of Drop & Crush Resistance – the first time that this certification has ever been awarded to a smartphone. In an earlier preview, examples of the phone were subjected to multiple rubber pellet rounds in a shooting range and continued working even after repeated direct hits.

HONOR X9e Pro –  Submarine-inspired Water Resistance

The HONOR X9e Pro has not one but three dust and water resistance certification ratings – IP68, IP69 and IP69K – with water-resistance depth reaching 10 meters.

This is a level of waterproofing that many competing flagship phones that cost several times more can’t even match. To earn all three certification ratings, a phone needs to stand up to repeated immersion, high-pressure water jets and also hot water immersion tests which the HONOR X9e Pro tackles with deft aplomb.

This is thanks to its submarine-inspired waterproofing architecture that combines an outer pressure-resistant shell, multi-layer waterproofing, compartmentalised sealing and precise drainage channels that help keep the inside dry even after an accidental drop in water.

HONOR X9e Pro – HONOR Rakyat Care+ Warranty Upgrade

Life has its ups and downs but Murphy’s law typically prevails when it comes to smartphones which is where HONOR’s commitment to after-sales protection comes into the picture. Starting with the HONOR X9a, HONOR began to offer a 180-Day Crack Protection policy as standard.

With the launch of its successors the HONOR X9b, HONOR X9c and HONOR X9d retained this policy even with increasingly better protection with each successive generation.

Now, with the HONOR X9e Pro, the coverage period has effectively quadrupled to a whopping 730-Day Front & Back Crack Protection, covering both the display and rear camera glass. This is also in addition to a 730-Day Liquid Damage Protection policy that entitles users to one free repair at an authorised service center if liquid damage occurs within two years. That’s not all, HONOR is also throwing in a 1-Year Extended Warranty for the HONOR X9e Pro at no extra cost.

All in, investing in the new HONOR X9e Pro means peace of mind for two years against accidental damage whether it’s from liquids or a cracked screen and owners can simply head straight to an authorised service center for repair. Now, that’s real peace of mind.

HONOR X9e Pro – Up To 10,000 Nits Peak Brightness

Smartphone displays are often hard to see under direct sunlight but the new HONOR X9e Pro solves this conundrum decisively as its expansive display offers up to 10,000 nits peak brightness.

This is a whopping 67% improvement over its predecessor the HONOR X9d’s screen brightness and surpasses many competing phones too, ensuring that content onscreen remains visible even under Malaysia’s year-round blazing sunlight.

HONOR X9e Pro – 108MP OIS Main Camera with Underwater Photography and Videography

Midrange smartphone cameras are typically afterthoughts but the HONOR X9e Pro takes things up a notch with a massive 108MP main camera that features a large 1/1.67-inch image sensor, 0.64μm pixel size, and a bright f/1.75 aperture to better capture more light. This is combined with CIPA 6.0 level stabilisation akin to the HONOR 600 Pro’s rear camera array.

Combined, these features enable the HONOR X9e Pro to offer good night shots but that’s not the only trick up its sleeve this time around. The robust 10-metre water resistance also enables the HONOR X9e Pro to capture both video and images underwater. Even better, HONOR also adds automatic Underwater Colour Tuning to account for the typically blue-green tint in underwater shots to make them look better than ever.

HONOR X9e Pro – Fully upgraded AI Photography Features

In this day and age, smartphone photography with AI enables challenging shots that would typically take extensive editing or experience to be captured with the press of a button and the HONOR X9e Pro features three powerful AI tools – AI Enhanced Night, AI Enhanced Zoom and AI Enhanced Portrait – with each respectively enhancing their selected imaging scenarios so that there is no need to edit it afterwards.

That’s not all, the HONOR X9e Pro also features the new built-in Moving Photo feature that adds Motion Trail, Motion Clone and Slow Motion effects. In addition, the phone adds in an AI Image-to-Video 2.0 feature previously seen on the HONOR 600 series that can create short AI-assisted videos or animate still photos with text prompts.

HONOR X9e Pro – Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 + Hummingbird Architecture 2.0

The HONOR X9e Pro features the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset that delivers responsive everyday performance across communication, photography, navigation, entertainment tasks and more.

This capable chipset is paired with HONOR’s Hummingbird Architecture 2.0 that keeps smooth responsiveness going for up to 72 months via three core technologies that work together – AI Trajectory Compensation, Page-Level Scheduling and a Kernel Lightweight Engine – while also ensuring app launch speeds are up to twice as fast as comparable devices.

HONOR X9e Pro – Four Successive Generations, Three Years As Midrange Sales Champion

The HONOR X9 series has held the enviable No. 1 spot in Malaysia’s midrange smartphone market for four consecutive generations and three straight years, a record that has now been officially certified by ASEAN Record.

In other words, two out of every three Malaysians buying a smartphone in this price segment chose the HONOR X9 series – that’s exactly what backs up its title as ‘Pilihan Utama Rakyat Malaysia’.

HONOR X9e Pro Availability

With four generations of market leadership in the midrange smartphone category, five industry-first titles across battery, durability, water resistance, brightness and sales performance along with full upgrades across its camera, performance, AI photography and warranty, the HONOR X9e Pro features almost everything expected of a midrange smartphone.
