Huawei aims to spearhead technological innovation and in that regard they’ve established a 5G Lampsite just outside their Huawei experience store at Pavilion Elite. At this Huawei 5G Experiential Zone, the public can experience firsthand 5G speeds at up to 1.3Gbps for themselves starting today till 6 October 2019.
Invited guests were given a walkthrough of what 5G connectivity has to offer over a variety of applications that include an Education section, a Gaming Zone where users can enjoy latency-free gaming of VR games in the cloud and a Speed Test Zone where users could see for themselves incredible download speeds of up to 1.3Gbps.

In a field test, a Huawei representative demonstrated this with a standard 4G and another 5G enabled Huawei Mate 20X smartphone with the Huawei 5G enabled phone downloading a massive 900MB in just 26 seconds.

This vision of the future today is extremely promising indeed, especially as this is hours ahead of Huawei’s upcoming launch of the Mate30 series smartphones which are taking place at Munich, Germany later on this evening.
