Huawei Band 11 Pro, Band 11 smartbands launched in Malaysia
Just in time for the holiday season, Huawei has launched two new smartbands the Huawei Band 11 and Huawei Band 11 Pro that are intended to act as seamless additions to everyday health and lifestyle routines while the new Huawei MatePad 11.5 Standard Edition is intended as an affordable budget workhorse tablet.
Huawei Band 11 Pro and Huawei Band 11 specs
The successor to the Band 10 launched last year, the Huawei Band 11 and Band 11 Pro both look quite similar to each other and have a similarly sized 1.62-inch square-shaped display.
Where they differ is that the Band 11 Pro has more features and has a brighter 2,000 nits peak brightness display while featuring autonomous GNSS positioning for outdoors runs while the Huawei Band 11 is not as bright with 1,500 nits peak brightness.
Brightness and GNSS positioning aside, both models feature 14 days of battery life with light use and 8 days with normal use. Both models have an updated Emotional Wellbeing feature that depicts their panda mascot telling you if you’re happy, calm or unhappy.
Both models support the usual array of sleep and activity tracking, Hearth Health, Sp02 and also host over 100+ workout modes.
However, the Huawei Band 11 Pro has two features that support enthusiast runners. The first, dubbed as a Wrist-based Running Posture mode, helps to track ground contact with your shoes and suggests ways to best optimise your stride to prevent long-term injuries. The second, dubbed Track Run Mode helps to ensure better and more accurate lane distance tracking.
Huawei Band 11 Pro and Huawei Band 11 price and colourways
In terms of available colourways, the Huawei Band 11 Pro is available in Blue, Green and Black for RM269 while the Band 11 can be had in Green, Black, Beige, Purple and White for RM189.
However, for a limited time, Huawei are offering the Band 11 at a special price of RM149 and the Pro for RM229.
