Huawei announces Malaysia Xmage Awards 2024 winners

Huawei has announced the 34 Malaysia Xmage Awards 2024 winners in a meaningful ceremony graced by YBrs. Samuel Lee, Deputy Director General Promotion (II) Tourism Malaysia as well as invited guests and the winners.

Now in its 8th year, the annual Huawei Xmage Awards 2024 takes place annually with contestants leveraging the imaging power of Huawei’s smartphones to capture images following a unique theme with this year’s theme based on ‘A Heartwarming World – 12 Years of Huawei Photography” along with several additional newly introduced categories ‘Moments’, ‘Faces’, ‘So Far So Close’ and ‘Style’.

For the Malaysia leg of the Huawei Xmage awards 2024, the contestants were judged by a panel of professionals that include Nini Yusof – CEO of Media Prima Television Networks & Primeworks Studios, Abeden Mung – Photographer, Bibo Aswan – Fashion & Lifestyle Photographer, and Li Changzhu – Vice President of Smartphone Product Line, Huawei Consumer Business Group.

In the awards ceremony, the winners won some of Huawei’s best hardware including a Pura 70 Ultra, the Huawei FreeClip and more.

The winners at the national level will be in the running for the global competition that is ongoing until 15 September 2024 with cash prizes worth up to US$100,000 up for grabs and the chance for their work to be featured on Huawei’s global advertising platforms.
