Huawei Mate 80 Pro specs and price
In terms of build and design, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro comes with a 6.75-inch Full HD+ (2,832 x 1,280 pixels) LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,440Hz PWM dimming that’s protected by 2nd Gen Kunlun Glass. Powering the phone is the Kirin 9030 Pro processor running EMUI 15 with apps sourced off the Huawei AppGallery paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB of non-expandable storage. TO keep the hardware cool, the phone has what Huawei refers to as a SuperCool Dual Phase Change Heat Dissipation system that has 16^ better thermal conductivity and reduces device temperature rise rate by 33%.
In keeping with its reputation for superior photography, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro hosts an impressive camera system that consists of a primary 50MP Ultra Lighting camera with a large 1/1.128-inch sensor, a 48MP Ultra Lighting Telephoto Macro lens with 4x optical zoom and a 40MP Ultra wide angle camera along with a fourth True-to-Colour Camera system sensor that ensures colour accuracy and tonal balance across different lighting conditions.
That’s not all, Huawei also adds in an array of AI features to the Huawei Mate 80 Pro. Their AI Composition mode for real-time helps framing shots in real life by assessing subjects, lines, light and balance for ideal framing of your shot while an AI Remove helps to remove unwanted objects in an image. They also have an AI Best Expression that takes multiple shots and creates the best composition for group shots.
Belying its svelte design and vegan fibre back panel, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro is rated for IP68 dust and water resistance and IP69 for high temperature and high pressure jet resistance. In Malaysia, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro is priced at RM3,999 with your choice of Gold, Green or Black colourways and will get RM2,115 in free gifts including a free Huawei MatePad 11.5 tablet and Huawei Premium Services that include complimentary One Year Huawei Care⁺ (valid for one claim), Three Years Battery Replacement (valid for one claim), Two Years Screen Protector (valid for four claims) and One Year APAC Warranty.
