Huawei MatePad 11 2023 tablet and Watch GT Cyber smartwatch launched in Malaysia
Ahead of a slated launch of the Huawei P60 Pro and Mate X3 in Malaysia, the brand has rolled out their latest tablet dubbed the MatePad 11 2023 and a stylish looking smartwatch dubbed the Watch GT Cyber with both now available nationwide.

The Huawei MatePad 11 2023 is designed as a solid productivity platform when used in tandem with its M Pencil stylus and keyboard case, allowing users to get paperwork done anywhere and everywhere.
In terms of hardware, the MatePad 11 2023 features an 11-inch LCD display with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and support for the DCI-P3 colour gamut that’s great for movies and viewing stills, web browsing and other tasks.
Powering the MatePad 11 2023 is a Snapdragon 865 processor running Huawei’s own Harmony OS 3.1 firmware paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Access to Google apps is possible via the use of the Lighthouse app on the Huawei AppGallery.
On the rear, the tablet hosts a 13MP camera while the front features an 8MP camera for video calls. Keeping it powered is a fairly massive 7,250mAh battery rated for 12 hours of use. It also packs WiFi 6 connectivity.
In Malaysia, the MatePad 11 2023 is priced at RM1,799 and ships with a bundled charger and for a limited time only, is issued with an M-Pencil with RM499 and a detachable keyboard case too to create a comprehensive productivity platform. Huawei Watch GT Cyber specs and price
The new Huawei Watch GT Cyber is their latest addition to their Watch GT series with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display that has 466 x 466 pixels resolution and swappable cases to change your look at will on top of a variety of digital watch faces to suit any occasion. The watch itself is also remarkably robust with a 50-metre water resistance rating along with military-grade resistance to extremes of shock, rain and temperature spikes.
It also has a veritable slew of workout modes – 100 of them to be exact along with location tracking via five different satellite systems for outdoor workouts. Running under the hood of the Watch GT Cyber is Huawei’s own HarmonyOS firmware and the watch also has the obligatory array of health and fitness tracking options including movement, heart rate, sleep tracking, all-day blood oxygen monitoring and stress tracking too.
In Malaysia, the Huawei Watch GT Cyber is available in a Midnight Black colourway priced at RM999 and a Golden Black colourway priced at RM1,099. Buyers can get RM220 when purchasing a second Huawei Watch GT Cyber and a 20% discount on straps when purchasing the watch itself.
