Huawei’s latest FreeBuds 6 open-fit wireless buds feature uniquely shaped earbuds that have a distinctive teardrop shape. Belying the fact that they actually look like surprisingly tasteful art sculptures, the earbuds of the Huawei FreeBuds 6 features a dual-driver system that integrates an 11mm dual-magnetic driver and Bass Turbo 2.0 tech for deeper, richer sound reproduction.
That’s not all, the earbuds also offer 2.3Mbps lossless audio transmission with Huawei’s own L2HC 4.0 codec on the Huawei Mate X6 foldable and also supports two-way calls that squelch all background noise including irksome wind noise for clearer conversations. In terms of battery life, the earbuds are rated to offer up to 36 hours of battery life inclusive of the charging case, which is 6 hours more than its predecessor.
The Huawei FreeBuds 6 also offers dual device connectivity allowing users to switch seamlessly between a paired phone, tablet or PC. Beyond the usual tap-based controls that enable users to manipulate playback with a series of taps on the earbuds, the FreeBuds 6 also feature head motion controls, allowing users to nod to answer a call and to shake their head to reject a call.
In Malaysia, the Huawei FreeBuds 6 is available priced at RM699 and will be available in store shelves nationwide from 24 June 2025 onwards with s.your choice of purple, black or white colourway. For the uninitiated, the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 2025 comes with an array of features and extra kit to ensure that mobile workers, students and other users who need mobile productivity on the go can enjoy a mobile PC-like experience.
Crammed into a svelte form factor is a lusciously vibrant 12.2-inch Tandem OLED PaperMatte display that has an anti-glare coating, Huawei’s own Anti-Sparkle tech to eliminate eye flicker and which offers up to 2,000 nits peak brightness while offering thrice the lifespan of traditional OLEDs.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 2025 also features a Kirin processor paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage in a chassis that’s just 5.5mm thin and that weighs a mere 512g, making it wonderfully portable. The tablet also ships with a large 10,100mAh battery that ensures all day performance.
The secret sauce that ensures the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 2025 is able to offer a PC-like experience is the introduction of their unique Huawei Glide keyboard that not only protects the tablet but also has a touchpad and a recessed groove to charge and protect the third gen Huawei M-Pencil stylus.
